Our God is Full of Surprises

March 3, 2026

At the end of August I was doing something I never thought I would be doing - packing my things and leaving my hometown (again!). After moving around a few times over the course of a few years, I was finally feeling settled in work and life. My work at the time wasn’t meaningful, but it was comfortable. However, God was inviting me to step into something new and something full of purpose. I am so grateful to be here.

I am passionate about seeing lives changed by Jesus. The vision at St. Ignatius of transforming lives and reaching the city with the gospel resonated deeply with my own heart. I dream of a city where we all live out of the abundance of our relationship with Jesus. A city of transformed lives, parishes, families, workplaces and relationships.

From my first time visiting St. Ignatius, I have been impressed by the many people here living in union with Jesus and regularly allowing that love to pour over into the lives of others. You are Jesus’ hands and feet to a broken and hurting world and it’s your words, your prayers and your leadership that helps bring about transformation and renewal in countless lives.

I am looking forward to working with the Church Engagement team to make disciples who love Jesus, developing leaders who step into God’s plan for their life and collaborating with the Holy Spirit to transform lives. I dream of a hospitality team that regularly connects with new guests, an Alpha that evangelizes people who don’t know Jesus and small groups that form and send disciples.

Thank you for welcoming me so generously to your spiritual home! Let’s roll up our sleeves and get to work together in the mission that has been entrusted to us! tra
