We are talking about the God The Creator (Loop)

These are the questions we are asking:

  • How does knowing you’re made in God’s image change the way you see yourself?
  • Read:
    • Psalm 139:13-14 NIV For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
  • What do you think God wants to teach you from today’s Bible verse?
  • God carefully chose and created all people. How does believing this change the way you think about others?
  • If your friend told you they have a hard time seeing anything good about themselves, what would you tell them? Who would you find to help them if they just didn’t believe you?
  • Who can you talk to if you ever have a hard time seeing what’s good about the way God chose to create you?
  • Who’s one person you can encourage this week by letting them know you’re thankful God chose to create them? How will you let them know? Brainstorm some fun ways to encourage others with your group!

We are going through the Alpha Youth Series - Episode 1 Welcome

These are the questions we are asking:

Pause 1 at minute 4:41 (5 minutes)

  • What makes you happy?
  • What could you not live without?
  • What do you need to change in order to be happy?

Pause 2 at minute 13:26 (2 minutes)

  •  If you had 24 hours to do anything you wanted, what would you do?
  • What’s something you’ve always wanted to do? (your bucket list)
  • Where have you always wanted to travel?

Pause 3 at minute 10:49 (2 minutes)

  • If God exists, what would you ask?
  • Why would you ask that?
  • Why do young people sometimes find it awkward to talk about big life questions?

After the video

  • What do you think it means that Jesus said He is the bread of life? And with him, you will never be hungry?
  • What stood out to you the most?
  • How did it go when you invited a friend to IgNation?

Ever been told you look just like someone in your family? Now’s the time to prove it! Find a side-by-side picture comparing you to a family member you resemble (parent, sibling, grandparent, or cousin). Bring a printed copy or email it to youth@stig.ca.
