We are talking about: Our Relationship with jesus

These are the questions we are asking:

  • What do you think a good friendship looks like?
  • What do you think about the idea of having a relationship with God?
  • After the video:
  • How would a relationship with God be different from a relationship with someone else?
  • Read:
  • Romans 8:37-39NIRV... We owe it all to Christ, who has loved us. I am absolutely sure that not even death or life can separate us from God’s love. Not even angels or demons, the present or the future, or any powers can separate us. Not even the highest places or the lowest, or anything else in all creation can separate us. Nothing at all can ever separate us from God’s love. That’s because of what Christ Jesus our Lord has done
  • What’s one word or phrase from this verse that’s especially meaningful to you?
  • How would you describe someone who follows Jesus?
  • What do you think it means when someone calls following Jesus an adventure?
  • What do you think is hard about following Jesus and what do you think is easy about it?

Weekly Challenge

Every week, group members accept a personal challenge to apply what was discussed to their day-to-day lives.

This week:

  • Show me with a picture that you are a Christian without saying it.

A reminder from last week:

  • “What’s one thing you can do this week to keep your focus on Jesus a little more? Either take a selfie while doing it, or write down what you did and how it went.”

Parents – Ask your kids about this challenge during dinner time and ask if they did it.
