Today we are talking about prayer.

These are the questions we are asking:

  • How does prayer connect us to God
  • Read:
  • Mark 12:30 NIV“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.”
  • What about this verse means the most to you?
  • What stood out to you the most from today’sLoop Show? What’s one thing you learned?
  • Why do you think people sometimes change the way they usually talk when they start to pray?
  • What is one thing that might pull your attention away if you tried to spend more time in prayer?
  • What do you think would be different about your life if you remembered to pray more often?

Today we are talking about prayer.

These are the questions we are asking:

  • If you could spend time with anyone in the world, who would it be?
  • Why would you spend time with them?
  • What would you say to them?
  • If God exists and you could have a conversation with him, what would it be about?
  • How do you think young people talk to God?
  • Does God care about everything in your life?
  • What do you think about the Bible?
  • Do you think the ideas in the Bible are old-fashioned or outdated?
  • Have you ever tried reading the Bible? How did it go?

Weekly Challenge

Every week, group members accept a personal challenge to apply what was discussed to their day-to-day lives.

This week:

  • Take a moment to choose one thing you’d like to talk to God about each day this week. Take another moment to think of a time that would be good for you to pray each day this week. Now, think of a plan to help you remember to follow through with that this week!

A reminder from last week:

  • Show me with a picture that you are a Christian without saying it.

Parents – Ask your kids about this challenge during dinner time and ask if they did it.
