From this week and the rest of the Second Trimester we will have personal testimonies linked to a topic. This week we are talking about Putting Jesus at the Center.

____________________________________________________________________

  • What part of the testimony stood out to you the most?
  • What does it mean to put something first in your life?
  • What are some things people your age care about a lot?
  • Can something good become too important? How?
  • What are some things that can take too much space in our life?
  • What do you think it means to put Jesus first?
  • How can we show God that He is important to us?
  • What is one thing you could put less time on to give more time to God?

From this week and the rest of the Second Trimester we will have personal testimonies linked to a topic. This week we are talking about Putting Jesus at the center.

____________________________________________________________________

  • What part of the testimony impacted you the most and why?
  • What does it actually mean to put Christ at the center of your life?
  • What are some modern “idols” in our culture? (money, success, image, social media…)
  • What tends to take first place in your life without you noticing?
  • Why is it so easy to give more attention to distractions than to God?
  • When something becomes more important than God, how does it affect us?
  • What would realistically change if Christ was truly at the center of your life?

Weekly Challenge

Every week, group members accept a personal challenge to apply what was discussed to their day-to-day lives.

This week:

Say a short prayer first thing in the morning before anything else.
Spend 5 minutes less on games/screens and give that time to God.
Do something kind for someone because you want to follow Jesus.
📝 Next Week: Share one moment when you chose to put Jesus first this week.

A reminder from last week:

Thank God for one thing about how He made you every day.
📝 Next Week:
Share the things you are thankful for. (About you)

Parents – Ask your kids about this challenge during dinner time and ask if they did it.

Every week, group members accept a personal challenge to apply what was discussed to their day-to-day lives.

This week:

Take a daily break from social media (at least 10–15 min) and use that time to pray. Identify one “idol” (phone, approval, success, etc.) and intentionally limit it this week. Start your day with God before checking your phone.
📝 Next Week: Share one moment when you chose to put Jesus first this week.

A reminder from last week:

When you feel like you’re “not enough,” pause and remind yourself:
“Jesus already gave His life for me — I am enough in Him.”

Identify one lie about your worth and replace it with a truth from God.
Bring a short reflection:
What lies did you notice? What truth helped you?

Parents – Ask your kids about this challenge during dinner time and ask if they did it.
