These are the questions we are asking.

  • What’s the difference between “fitting in” and“belonging”?
  • Read Ephesians 2:10:
    • For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.
  • Close your eyes while you listen to this Bible passage. What does it make you think about?
  • Talk about a place or a situation that makes people feel like they need to change themselves so they fit in. What would help people in that place or situation to know they belong?
  • We sometimes get trapped into believing the awful phrase, “I’m not _____ enough.” How does this phrase hurt people? How does this phrase hurt God? What truth can fight the “I’m not _____ enough” lie?
  • What will you do this week if you hear someone talking about themselves as “not ____ enough”?
  • Looking ahead to this summer, what are some specific activities, habits, or pressures you feel that might make you lose sight of your relationship with Jesus, and how can you intentionally keep Him at the center of your "path" during those months?

These are the questions we are asking.

  • In what ways do you feel like you are currently on a clear, defined path, and in what ways does your future feel like you are having to forge your own way?
  • Why is it so easy to feel "behind" when looking at others, and how can we shift our focus from those external milestones to our own journey?
  • If you define "success" by who you are becoming rather than what you achieve, how does that change your perspective on setbacks or changes in your plans?
  • When you feel anxiety about making a "wrong" choice for your future, what are some ways you can lean on your faith or seek guidance while remembering that the process itself is shaping who you are?
  • How can we view our daily choices—whether it's school, work, or hobbies—as steps that lead us toward that ultimate destination?
  • Looking ahead to this summer, what are some specific activities, habits, or pressures you feel that might make you lose sight of your relationship with Jesus, and how can you intentionally keep Him at the center of your "path" during those months?
