Tonight we are talking about the Prodigal Son.

____________________________________________________________________

  • What do you think made the prodigal son leave his house?
  • How would you feel if you were the father?
  • How would you feel if you were the other son?
  • Can you relate to anything in that passage?
  • What do you think is the best quality you display to your close friends?
  • What can you do if one of your close friends starts displaying qualities you’re not comfortable being around? How do you think they became that way?
  • Think of someone who displays at least one good/gracious-like quality. How do you think they became that way? What’s one thing you can do this week to let them know you admire that quality in them?

We will just eat at 7pm and then go upstairs to serve and mass invite everyone to be at the adoration after mass.

Weekly Challenge

Every week, group members accept a personal challenge to apply what was discussed to their day-to-day lives.

This week:

Stay for Mass and adoration.

A reminder from last week:

Say a short prayer first thing in the morning before anything else.
Spend 5 minutes less on games/screens and give that time to God.
Do something kind for someone because you want to follow Jesus.
📝 Next Week: Share one moment when you chose to put Jesus first this week.

Parents – Ask your kids about this challenge during dinner time and ask if they did it.

A reminder from last week:

Take a daily break from social media (at least 10–15 min) and use that time to pray. Identify one “idol” (phone, approval, success, etc.) and intentionally limit it this week. Start your day with God before checking your phone.
