WEEK SIX

Confession &
other Sacraments

Summary
“When Jesus heard this, he said to them, ‘Those who are well have no need of a physician but those who are sick; I have not come to call the righteous but sinners.’”
Mark 2:17

The sacraments are powerful ways that God gives us His grace. In particular, confession (the sacrament of reconciliation) is where we bring our sins to Jesus and receive His mercy and forgiveness.

Confession isn’t about shame or judgment. It’s about honestly bringing our brokenness to God so He can heal us. When we confess our sins, we learn to rely on God’s grace rather than our own strength, and we experience the freedom that comes from being fully known and loved.
Like the prodigal children who return to their Father, God always welcomes us back with mercy.
